think the offside rule in soccer is a beautiful rule.it makes people to play smartly.yes.play smart.be a thinking player.forwards have to check their runs,make diagonal runs,open up play to slice defences apart. defenders have to be in sync,move as a unit, read moves intelligently. without this rule, soccer would have been much less exciting.beautiful. once told yux before playing soccer is very much like human relationships.u got to defend,u got to attack.thats the game.as easy as that.but of cos,it is often not. sometimes u have to take a proactive approach to shower concern over your frends,sometimes u stay back and welcome concern from others. sometimes u make good passes.sometimes your passes go stray. sometimes u net a goal.who knows u could also have netted an own goal. sometimes fatigue overwhelms u.u feel like giving up. sometimes u enjoy the company. steady relationships dont stop with the whistle, u continue to play your matches. some just end with the whistle.:[ Similarly, in touch rug, gaining and losing territory is also part and parcel of life.u move up and down. life is about ups and downs. u think of ways to wriggle past opponents. a dive,a touchdown, u feel proud. u learn to embrace.u learn to cherish.u learn to explore. it is akin to maintaining the tension of a string. we are on the balancing beam. wonder if positions we play in reflect our character...hmm.
